The
American
Tornado Master installation process begins with the delivery
of your new storm shelter.
After determining the best
location for
your shelter, we measure, stake the site, and
begin backhoe excavation.
(NOTE:
Prior to excavation, locate and mark all utility and other buried cables and
plumbing.)
Once the hole has been squared, leveled,
and prepared, the storm shelter is removed from the trailer for insertion.
Pre-welded lift points help stabilize the shelter while it is moved into
position.
After installing the lower unit, it is prepared to receive the upper
portion so that once the upper unit is set in place, the shelter can be
sealed and secured.
After your installed shelter has been leveled, concrete is poured at all
four vertical sides for stability.
The installation site is then backfilled with excavated earth and any
excess dirt is hauled away. The
final installation steps include the placement of the vents on the rear
air outlets.
