This is our "Jumbo" shelter that seats 12 or more average size adults.
It's huge size gives plenty of elbow room when the neighbors show up.
It has the same quality as our other shelters and has the same Lifetime warranty.
FLAT-TOP (flush mounted) SHELTERS
We now have two flat-top models available. The interiors of both look identical to our standard models.
Installed shelters are totally flat with nothing to trip over. Shelters can be locked to protect valuables.
Magnetic covers are available to keep the moisture out of shelters.
Large Flat Top/8-person shelter
3' wide x 7' long x 4' 6" deep. Has two carpeted 8" benches, three carpeted, removable,
8" steps, or steel retractable ones, and a removable hand-rail
Super Flat Top/12-person shelter
8' long x 4' wide x 5' deep. Comes with two carpeted 8" benches, four retractable 8" stairs, and a removable hand-rail

The installation process:
 Removing sections of concrete floor. |
 Excavating hole to the proper depth. |
 Shelter structure being lowered into hole. |
 Dry, pre-mixed concrete placed around structure. Sand used to backfill around bottom third of structure. |
 Backfill with dry, pre-mixed concrete and moderate water to within 4-6" of floor level. |
 Wet concrete is used to finish backfilling to surrounding floor level. |
 Concrete is troweled smooth to complete placement of shelter structure. |
 Complete shelter with lid installed, handrail and seating in place. |

SMALL SHELTERS
28" wide x 72" long x 54" deep Shelter has three, full width, removable stairs and removable handrail Unit has one padded adjustable bench
This unit protrudes 4" above the floor allowing breathing air to enter underneath lids. Even with it's small size the shelter seats four average size adults. It has a hand rail and sliding entry lid with dual chain locks.
CATHODIC PROTECTION
Lifetime Corrosion Protection
The solid block of magnesium attached to the wall of our shelters, attracts any electrolysis flow to itself instead of attacking the shelter itself. It, combined with the coal tar coating, is the state of the art protection in the industry to prevent steel corrosion under ground where there is moisture present. Pipeline companies, tank companies, and refineries worldwide use this technology
SHELTER ACCESSORIES
Duralon Door Covers
We have three sizes of Duralon covers available for each model of shelters.
They keep the shelter clean and prevent moisture from entering when the shelter is installed outside.
The flat-top covers are magnetic with a 2" magnet sewn in around the perimeter.
